I'm proud to have been recognized for a couple of radio stories I produced. The Cirque du Soleil piece was the first non-9/11-related segment that Here & Now aired after that tragic day, following weeks of non-stop depressing news. Listeners showed their appreciation, and my production and editing skills were honored by the Associated Press and Radio-Television News Directors Association.

Many years later, the Los Angeles Press Club recognized my piece about the Santa Barbara Choral Society's commemoration of the 10th anniversary of 9/11.
